A Guide to Make the Perfect Prawn Pickle Recipe!

Sometimes we usually get bored after loading the same pattern of dishes into our guts. Pickle is a great food to activate the snoozing taste buds of our tongue. Pickle has to be prepared from the fresh accompaniments available in our market. It will be quite exciting if you buy the primary ingredient from processors and exporters of seafood in India as an ingredient for the preparation of pickles. Now we will proceed towards the ingredients and recipe for the formation of this pickle.

Ingredients-

  1. Small prawns from the seafood exporters only
  2. Salt
  3. Turmeric powder
  4. Red chili powder
  5. Vegetable oil
  6. Ginger garlic paste
  7. Vinegar
  8. Green chilies
  9. Black peppercorns
  10. Cardamom
  11. Cinnamon
  12. Cloves
  13. Coriander seeds

Recipe-

  1. In the beginning, you have to clean the shrimps in freshwater. It is always preferable to obtain the season`s latest small sizes from the prawn export companies.
  2. You have to add turmeric and salt to mix them well with this seafood. It is better to keep them on a strainer so that the water can easily come out from them. This mixture has to be marinated for half an hour.
  3. After heating the oil in a pan you have to fry the marinated shrimps with red chili powder for five minutes. Then keep it aside
  4. You have to take a large amount of ginger garlic paste. They should be in proportion to the amount of the primary ingredients needed for the pickle. No water should be there in the paste.
  5. Again you have to heat the oil for frying the ginger garlic paste on medium flame.
  6. It is time to add the spices-black pepper powder red chili powder turmeric and a mixture of hot ground spices powder. Salt has to be added depending on its taste.
  7. On a serious note vinegar in small quantity have to add along with a cup of water into the mixture.
  8. Instantly you have to mix the prawns into the curry paste. You will see the mixture will become slightly dry and the oil would glide on the top of the gravy. Let it becomes cool after switching off the oven.
  9. You have to bring a glass or ceramic jar for transferring the batter into it. Now you can keep the jar in your refrigerator for a month at your home.

In south India, this pickle is quite popular at home because of its simplicity. It is recommended to choose the shrimps from those communities that have direct links in prawns export India. The tang of spices and shrimps will cherish the happiness of the food lovers in every situation of life.
