Know the Ingredients required:
- Shrimps (or prawns, as per your preference) – 2 pounds, medium-sized, peeled, and deveined
- Vegetable oil – 2 cups
- Peach preserves – 1 jar, approximately 12 ounces
- Horseradish – 2 tablespoons, prepared
- Spicy mustard – 2 tablespoons, prepared
- All-purpose flour – 1 ¼ cups
- Baking powder – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- Paprika – 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper – ½ teaspoon
- Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
- Dried basil – ¼ teaspoon
- Eggs – 2, large sized
- Beer – 1 cup
How to Prepare? Know the Preparation process!
- Take a small bowl and add the peach preserves, horseradish, and mustard. Mix it thoroughly until they are blended well. Your peach sauce is ready. Set the mixture aside for the later purpose.
- Now take a large bowl and put the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, basil, eggs, and beer. Whisk everything properly until a smooth batter is formed.
- Take a deep fryer saucepan and put it on flames. Heat the vegetable oil in it sufficiently for frying purposes.
- Use the batter to coat the shrimp in batches. Take a slotted spoon to remove the shrimp from the batter while shaking off the excess batter from the shrimp.
- Now, let the shrimp fry in the heated oil until they turn into a nice golden hue. This will take about 2 minutes for a batch of shrimp.
- Once they turn golden brown, take them out of the oil and place them on paper towels to remove the excess oil.
