- Fresh okra cut into half lengthwise-1/2 pound
- Sliced bell pepper-1 cup
- Sliced onion -1 cup
- Peeled, deveined shrimp- 11/4 pound
- Fresh lemon juice -2 tablespoon
- Green capsicum- 1 cup
- Unsalted butter -1 tablespoon
- Cooked basmati rice -3 cups
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoon
- Black pepper-1/2 tablespoon
- Salt-free Cajun seasoning or any seasoning of your choice -2 tablespoon
- Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley – 2 tablespoon
In a small bowl mix Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Give it a good mix. Now heat a pan and to it add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and then add okra, bell pepper, capsicum, and onion to it. To it add the prepared above seasoning mixture and cook until the okra is lightly brownish and pepper and onion starts getting tender. Turn off the flame and transfer the stuff into a bowl.
In the same pan add the remaining olive oil, heat it and add shrimps to it and toss it and then add the seasoning to it. Cook the shrimps till they are opaque i.e. for 4to 5 minutes. Always remember shrimps from the best shrimp and prawn provider cooks faster and tastes good.
